Description
The long version of the starter block is produced using 3D printing and is used to start the 1st cross string at the top of the racket head when stringing. The long version of this distance block has a decisive advantage: the string is clamped further back with the starter clamp. Each time the starter clamp is used, the string is squeezed a little. If the starter block is too short or if no starter block is used, this can lead to the string breaking later when the knot is tightened. Thanks to our longer starter block, this is avoided. It is recommended for use with all softer co-polyester strings, multifilament strings and natural gut strings. The long starter block has another advantage: the rounding on the racket head is flatter than with conventional starter blocks on the market. As a result, our block has a better and fuller contact with the racket head. The pressure distribution is optimized and the racket head is better protected.
